To introduce some of the diverse and inter-disciplinary applications of dendrochronology.
To provide a basic working knowledge of the process of conducting tree-ring research, from sample collection to sample preparation to data collection to data analysis and interpretation.
To provide a more detailed working knowledge of data analysis in one of three areas of specialization: Dendroarchaeology, Dendroecology and Dendroclimatology.
