The new LTRR TIME Lab specializes in combining tree-ring and radiocarbon dating techniques. In this talk we will look at the basics of radiocarbon and how it has developed alongside dendrochronology. We will explore some new applications in dating volcanic eruptions and synchronizing timelines in the ancient Mediterranean.
